By Land

Driving, San Felipe can be accessed by two roads, either by the federal Highway number 5 from Mexicali or Highway number 3 from Ensenada. However, there is a highway that extends South of San Felipe that will take you to the village of Puertecitos located 90km (about 60 miles) away. But because this highway is not in top condition due to lack of maintenance it is recommended to use caution if you are driving a standard vehicle. Call Sr. Jose Luis for details on Caravans from the U.S. border to San Felipe at (011-52) 657-7-1 277 or 7-1 278. You may also receive details at (3030) 790-1749. |
